Hi Barb, thanks for the message. My daughter is not incarcerated and I have the names and numbers of all the agencies. The problem is that the agencies seem to think that because the children are in foster care for such a prolonged time (due to their incompetence, not mine) that they are too bonded to the foster care provider to be returned to live with me again. I have been through an ICPC and am qualified as a foster care, case specific foster parent for them in NE. and they lived with me previously...I don't see a need for them to be kept in N.Y. I maintain that these children at the ages they were when taken were bound to bond with whoever took care of their emotional and physical needs, it could have been Charles Manson! The urgent problem I have now is that I am out of money to keep my home, in which I live with my youngest granddaughter, who just turned a year old. I have been trying to do everything I can to have these children returned to me. It was like my daughter took my own children away when she took them to N.Y. because I had been their main care giver for so long, longer than they have been in foster care. However, each constituent of a town has to make the obligation to assist his or her people whom are in need. I am sorry guys I read one of our members postings and I hoped I could have been of some use to her. We are regular folks! Yet society tries to look at us differently.
